Our hygiene department focuses on giving our patients the tools needed to have a healthy mouth for a lifetime. This is accomplished by customizing care based on each patient’s needs, patient education, and identifying dental disease early.
What is dental fitness?
Dental fitness is an objective evaluation of your current dental health. After evaluation of your plaque, gums, and bone, patients are put into fitness levels 1-4. The healthy patient would be level one with each subsequent level indicating your level of disease. The goal of the hygiene department is to educate all patients on techniques to improve and maintain home care.
